Gualjoquito
is on the Ulua River. It was occupied from 200 BC- 1500AD, though its major florescence dates to the Late Classic (AD 600-1000), contemporary with Naco's apogee of political development. Despite these parallels, and apparent connections between the two areas, the organization of the Gualjoquito polity diverges from that seen in Naco.
