Today, this site is not open to public. Its name ,strong>Okolhuitz (okol-to-wits) means, "get in to the high bluff" in Mayan language. Although there is no exact register of its earliest human occupation, we know it reached its most successful period in the Classic (C.E. 600-800) and its desertion dates approximately on C.E. 900, on the basis of its architecture.
